LE MANS miniatures will be present at the UK Slot Car Festival on May Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th for the first time for ever to meet British audience and show the production of the manufacture of slot racing in 1/32nd and 1/24th resin scale models.

Following on from the tremendous success of NSCC Live at the UKSF in 2014, we are proud to announce the line up for NSCC Live at UKSF 2015.

This is a tremendous opportunity to meet the manufacturers, hear their plans for the future and maybe get a sneak preview of some new releases.

The 911 GT1 EVO 98 was designed by Porsche to compete in the GT1 category in 1998, at the Le Mans 24 Hours and in the FIA GT international championship. In the beginning, the GT1 class cars were Grand Touring cars modified for competitions, but in the last years they got more and more similar to racing prototypes.



The '98 Porsche GT1 was a brand new car, the first ever built by Porsche with a carbon composite monocoque chassis.It came equipped with front and rear double wishbone suspensions with pushrod, 18” wheels, carbon brake discs.Engine was a six-cylinder, flat, 3.2 litres twin turbo, 4 valves per cylinder, water-cooled, unit, with maximum torque of 630 Nm at 5000 rpm and maximum power of 550 hp at 7200 rpm.



Six-speed gearbox type was sequential with triple disc carbon fibre clutch. Fuel tank capacity 100 litres.In 1998, the FIA GT championship was dominated by Mercedes, but Porsche was able to win the Le Mans 24 Hours. Mercedes and Toyota were faster on the single laps, but the cars from Zuffenhausen were able to finish 1st and 2nd, thanks to their better reliability.

Porsche 962 is a sport-prototype racing car created to replace the already succesfull Porsche 956, in order to allow its presence in the Americans IMSA and WSC Group C competitions.
It was one of the most succesfull racing cars ever and it won several competitions all over the world:
- World Sport-Prototype Championship in 1985 and 1986
- 24h Le Mans in 1986, 1987 and 1994
- IMSA GTP Championship in 1985, 1986, 1987 and 1988
- 24h Daytona in 1985, 1986, 1987, 1989 and 1991
- 12h Sebring in 1985, 1986, 1987 and 1988



The '962C' appeared for the first time at Le Mans in 1985. The engine was a boxer, 6 cylinders, with two turbos, liquid-cooled, 4 valves per cylinder, double overhead camshaft.
On the 3 factory cars engaged in the '24 Hours' in 1988, displacement had beenincreased at 3 liters. Even the tail had been updated. In those years, cars used 'long' shaped tails to have the less possible drag on the 'Les Hunaudières' straight. During qualifying, the works 962C reached a maximum speed of 391 kph.



This car raced at Le Mans in 1993 in the red and white livery of long standing Porsche sponsor F.A.T. TURBO. The car was driven by Manuel Reuter, Frank Jelinski, John Winter.

Scaleauto is releasing a plain white (unpainted) kit version of thier new Mini All4 at 1:32th scale slot.



Made in 0.8mm thick plastic injected with all the detailed interior lightened and transparent parts. Body prepared for mounting directly onto the Dakar 4x4 chassis by vertical clamping screws.



This kit will be followed by the release of 4 fully liveried official cars that started in the Dakar Argentina-Chile-Peru in 2012. The car will be supplied with the Dakar 4x4 chassis, with modifications in the front pulley and Monster logos will be delivered on a separate sheet of decals. Photos show mock up not final production models of the full liveries which are waiting for approval.





Also announced are white kits for the following cars;

Shown for the first time at last weekend's Gaydon Slot Festival was the Sideways Limited Edition Gold Leaf Zakspeed Capri. The car had a lot of favourable comments. This livery like the Sideways JPS Limited Editions before it are what the Americans call Tribute liveries, and the car does look very cool in this scheme.



The Gold Leaf cars. as most will remember were linked to the Lotus Team during the 1968- 1971 seasons and was the first time a car was painted in the colours of the principal sponsors. Like the JPS versions this will be limited to 1000 units worldwide.

HISTORY
The 1954 Formula One season brought new rules for 2.5 L engines; Ferrari's new car, designated the Ferrari Tipo 625, could barely compete against Fangio with the Maserati and then theMercedes-Benz W196 which appeared in July. Ferrari had only two wins, González at the 1954 British Grand Prix and Mike Hawthorn at the 1954 Spanish Grand Prix. In 1955 Formula One season Ferrari did no better, winning only the 1955 Monaco Grand Prix with driver Maurice Trintignant. Late in the tragic 1955 season the Ferrari team purchased the Lancia team's D50 chassis after they had retired following Ascari's death; Fangio, Peter Collins, and Eugenio Castellotti raced the D50s successfully in the 1956 Formula One season: Collins two races, Fangio won three races and the championship.

We still have a little late this year but the reference is here SP019. In this case it is the Renault 8 Gordini driven by J.Albino / S.Pereira that finished in first place in the Rallye TAP Portugal 1967. A special feature in this rally say that some of the sections were run without copilot.



Along the same line, unpublished decor slot using as always Scalextric SCX-base. The process of making also the same as the above references.
In this case also the original tires are replaced by a commensurate with the actual model and a couple of impressive owls on the front to finish off the exquisite work of Manel.

The Mark I Ford Escort was introduced in the United Kingdom at the end of 1967, making its show debut at Brussels Motor Show in January 1968 and went on to become one of the most successful rally cars of all time. The Ford works team was practically unbeatable in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and arguably the Escort's greatest victory was in the 1970 London to Mexico World Cup Rally being driven by Finnish legend Hannu Mikkola. This gave rise to the Escort Mexico 1.6 L "Kent"-engined special edition road versions in honour of the rally car. Ford also produced an RS2000 model featuring a 2.0 L Pinto (OHC) engine. This also clocked up some rally and racing victories; and pre-empted the hot hatch market as a desirable but affordable performance road car.

2014 Formula 1 Malaysian Grand Prix. The Malaysian Grand Prix at the magnificent Sepang circuit provides one of the most fearsome tests of both driver and machinery on the Formula One calendar. The Hermann Tilke-designed track is famed for its two vast straights, separated by the heavy braking multi-line hairpin. Then there’s the possibly – frequently a probability – of a sudden tropical downpour. Jenson Button is the most experienced driver in Malaysian Grand Prix history and has a victory and three other podium finishes to his name – but it’s also been a happy circuit for drivers new to McLaren with both Kimi Räikkönen and Fernando Alonso taking their first McLaren victories at Sepang.

It was a triumphant Tommy Fjastad and Bernhard Schmider who entered Nairobi at the head of the surviving 46 of the 104 cars that started. His VW was placed 1st 0verall, 1st in class C and also won the award for the best Price/Performance Index. When he was interviewed Tommy Fjastad said that the car was in excellent condition and was ready to go round again!

The 1964 Australian Touring Car Championship was contested over a single race staged at the Lakeside circuit in Queensland, Australia, on 26 July 1964. Battling against the more powerful cars of Holden, Jaguar and Ford the two mighty Minis of Brian Foley and Peter Manton finished fourth and fifth overall and 1st and 2nd in their class. Brian Foley started motor racing in the early 1950's specializing in Austin A30, Austin A40 Farina, Austin Lancer, Austin Healey Sprite marks 1 & 2a and finally the Morris Cooper S. Peter Manton is a highly respected driver and car preparer. During the 1960s and the era of the Neptune, Total and Shell racing teams associated with him, Manton’s cars were the yardstick other Minis were judged by. This special issue twin-pack celebrates the epic battles between two top Australian drivers of the 1960s and their ‘giant-slaying’ Mini Coopers and also marks 50 years since the first Manton & Foley Scalextric Mini Cooper cars were released exclusively for the Australian market.

We are pleased to introduce our next product, the truck FIAT 505 F 1924, with which we intend to offer something different to the customer, a product that is beyond everything we usually see in slot at 1/32 scale, something not thought of performance, only the pure pleasure of driving. A model that both may be in our showcases, or decorating circuits, with the added value that can also run on the track.



The FIAT opens range of references, the "C", so that it is detached from the "M" (cars) and can be collected apart, and removing the purchase obligation to whom only wants to collect cars.



For the display, we turn to the hands of a renowned artist and painter of oils, which was responsible for the design of the decoration of the base, which is covered by a disposable protective dome.



Due to slowness and complexity of manufacture, production will be limited to only 100 numbered units.
Recommended price: 110 euros (shipping not included).
